This painting was conceived and finished in 96 degree weather at the heigh of summer at Fort Hill in Eastham, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. I wore a straw hat. I drank water. I painted this in a heat "daze!" Lazy, crazy hazy days of Summer... The scene is a gentle hill of wildflowers and brilliant blue sky. Lupines, marsh and ocean! Suitable for any room of the house.
