A younger, virile twin to the Holly King. The two are dual aspects of the Horned God battling for the favor of the Goddess. You might also know him as the Greenman. At Midsummer (also known as Litha/Summer Solstice- circa 06/21), the Holly King slays the Oak King to rule over the winter months. The days start getting shorter....the nights are getting colder....mother nature shuts down for a winter slumber. We say farewell to the sun. At Midwinter (Also known as Yule/Winter Solstice- circa 12/21), the Oak King returns and is victorious in this bout. The days start getting longer and warmer. The earth begins to wake up from its slumber....and green begins to envelope the earth. We welcome in the return of the sun. Both are symbolic to an eternal dance of fertility, growth, death and rebirth and the turning of the wheel.

Discover Holly by Stephen King. Stephen King’s Holly marks the triumphant return of beloved King character Holly Gibney. Readers have witnessed Holly’s gradual transformation from a shy (but also brave and ethical) recluse in Mr. Mercedes to Bill Hodges’s partner in Finders Keepers to a full-fledged, smart, and occasionally tough private detective in The Outsider. In King’s new novel, Holly is on her own, and up against a pair of unimaginably depraved and brilliantly disguised adversaries. #Books #eBooks #Audiobooks #ePub #Kindle #Mobi #PDF #Read #Online READ WITH OUR FREE APP AUDIOBOOK, FREE WITH AUDIBLE TRIAL, READ BOOK FORMAT PDF, EPUB EBOOK, EBOOKS DOWNLOAD PDF KINDLE, DOWNLOAD {PDF] AND READ ONLINE, READ BOOK FORMAT PDF EBOOK DOWNLOAD {PDF] AND READ ONLINE MOST READ BOOKS
