Dr. Propolus is the moniker of Austrian-Moroccan illustrator and filmmaker Ilias Walchshofer, who is based in Berlin. The artist takes found fashion spread and celebrity photography and adds flourishes of humor and intricate accessories with his signature black and white linework. Whether adding woodland animals, extra clothing, or something mythical in nature, these additions often change the entire tone of each original piece.
inspired by Greek Mythology, Kyiv-based Marta Syrko made some creative use of water and its fluid visual effects for a dreamy portrait series.

Is scribbling art? Do you really think scribbling is art or are you one of those who thinks it is not? The thing is you are not wrong no matter what you think because not all scribbling is art but then not all scribbling is not art. Some types of scribbling can be done by good artists who direct their scribbling to create meaningful and pretty art that can be used to make your home and office look awesome. If you do not believe us, all you need to do is look at the images we have added along with the article to know that scribbled stuff can also be art. This reminds us of those magic shows of old where the magician would call one of the audience to the stage and have him or her scribble whatever he or she likes to do on to a huge board. Then the magician would ask the audience to tell him what they want the scribbles to be converted into. And once the audience agreed upon on what they wanted the scribbles to be converted into, he would do a bit of tweaking and voila, there would be some awesome art on the board. The reason why we mentioned this here is because sometimes looking at scribble art gives you a similar feeling. Sometimes the world of illustrious illustrations to keep you occupied is also on the same lines that can fill you with wonder and joy.

Water is often in my images. For me it symbolizes life and the transience of things. Symbolizes pleasure and sin, and in the same time purity and chastity. I strive to connect these two extremes, and to blend them into one… for us to be happy, without forgetting the pain…

Misty hills. Lonely forest roads. Plenty of vines, moss, and unkempt trees. And the cherry on top—a gorgeous abandoned building that radiates eeriness and grandeur in equal measure. That’s our dream home right there. Especially if the place looks haunted.

Though viewers may not know the narratives of Karla Ortiz’s painted and drawn figures, her absorbing pieces inspire conjecture. Outside of her fine art work, Ortiz is a concept artist for Marvel Film Studios, and in the past, Industrial Light & Magic and Ubisoft. She's also illustrated products for Wizards of the Coast and Tor Books. All speak to Ortiz’s talent for storytelling, even when the subjects are unfamiliar to the viewer.

Fosse… anche l’unico canto libero di Ophelia lasciami sfumare così infiorata di mia follia in assolo del fato che mi trascina via... ~ Catherine La Rose© ~ Friedrich Wilhelm Theodor Heyser was a German painter from Gnoien/Dresden. He began studying at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts under Leon Pohle and Paul Mohn. After initially spending three years in Dresden, he attended the Kunsthochschule in Karlsruhe and then the Académie Julian in Paris. After completing his studies Heyser devoted himself mainly to portraits and historical paintings. Among the portrayed were numerous prominent figures such as Prince Regent Albrecht of Braunschweig, Prince Albrecht of Prussia and Prince Johann Georg of Saxony. In addition, Heyser created genre pictures, whose representations were based on German poetry, for example, "The Fisherman" after Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1886).
