Jour du souvenir. Guylaine. 11/11/13.
After months away, you think I'd be ready to go home. This morning, however, felt like I was somehow leaving home all over again.
Apparently, I had to come all the way to Africa to grasp this idea, but for that I am so thankful.
One of the hardest things to admit is the amount of fear I felt leaving for this trip. Ten days later, I am surrounded by an amazing and loving team in an environment that is allowing my faith to flourish.
There's still a part of me that can't even comprehend that it really happened. How is it possible that two months ago I was still in Africa, nowhere near ready to say goodbye? It feels like a dream.
