Hello, Little Miss Sunshine here. As an artist myself, I feel it necessary to pay homage to some of the artists who inspire me. Since the name of my blog is Rainy Day Crafts, my first post is dedicated to artist Andre Kohn. He has a magnificent collection of drawings and paintings, focusing on human subjects during rainy days. Although all of his paintings are breathtaking, I am more captivated by his drawings. Below are a few of my favorite. To view his entire collection, visit his website here. I do not own right to any of these images. All artwork is done by Andre Kohn. Love always, Little Miss Sunshine
We asked you to share your art on the theme of portraiture. Lucy Peter, Assistant Curator of Paintings at the Royal Collection Trust, has selected her favourites

to the sound of this song "All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up." - Pablo Picasso Today was the most beautiful day of the whole year! I never want it to end, never ever ever! LARGE This shot was the most painful shot I've done so far - I carried all of this stuff up, plus camera and tripod, up a steep hill which is a 30minute trek, then climbed up some rocks right below me in the picture (its a cliff) set up, shot, then had to take it all down again! One nice man helped me lift the stepladder across a sty though!! I am off out to do my essays and enjoy this weather some more :D Hope you all are having as lovely as day as I am <3 our blog
I always wanted to participate in this challenge but I didn't have a lot of spare time. So this year I said to myself that I give it a try.

Myself I think shall never know, how far beneath the wave I go & Against the mass of night by Kaye Donachie
About The Artwork Cristina Troufa want to consolidate the idea of a self-portrait and/or self-representation but for other hand wants to reflect on a spiritual, emotional, and psychological inner self-portrait, that may be done conceptually. She uses her own image in autobiographical paintings that explore her life and spiritual beliefs. As a form of self-knowledge and self-questioning, her work explores an inner world in a symbolic way, which remains inaccessible to the voyeur that can only guess what each painting represents. The artist describe her work as: “…something spiritual, a route between several lives and several times in the same life, coexisting side by side from strategies of self-representation that ultimately, question the meaning of life”…"The theme of my work is about my life, about myself and my beliefs. I explore in my work the self-representation in the looking for my inner self, my self-portrait."
