This instrument was commissioned by a fellow that performs in a group playing an electrified 21-7/8" scale acoustic guitar with a piezo pickup on it. He tunes it E-A-D with heavy strings. It is his thing, that's what he does. Who am I to question his thing? I am here to help. So, I suggested that I make him a Luddite version complete with a three pole-piece humbucker pickup and special custom hardware. I love this kind of thing. He called my bluff and here it is.
The Peregrine Luddite is a slightly streamlined version of the Super Luddite. It enjoys all of the special circuitry of the Super without the carved top and the set neck. Binding is also absent; instead the body features a minimal round over on the top and back. The chambered body has a Cambodian Rosewood cap with a beautiful book-matched center sapwood detail. Let me emphasize again that I truly feel I have stumbled upon a very special design. Even though its 12th fret body join, non-adjustable steel truss rod, and a slotted headstock are basically antique concepts, sonically this guitar has so much to offer that one can easily forgive its lack of modern appointments, which are mostly for fashion anyway. The sound of this guitar turns heads every time.
The Luddite Amontillado guitar was commissioned to fulfill a request for an acoustic instrument that would primarily be used with an under-saddle transducer plugged into an amp. This application is renown for having feedback problems.

This short book demystifies how the two systems of technology and capitalism work together and equips readers with practical tools to dismantle them and build a better world, bit by bit. Our society is constantly made to serve the needs of two systems: technology and capitalism. Neither exists outside humans, but both are treated as above and beyond us. The Mechanic and the Luddite offers the critical tools needed to deconstruct these systems--how they work, whom they work for, and what work the

Since the beginning of the modern science fiction genre, authors have built careers on writing short stories, publishing in magazines and anthologies — and more recently — on websites. While they don’t quite get the same attention as a novel that you’ll find in a bookstore, collections of an author’s short work has long been a good way to catch up on their published repertoire. There’s been more attention on shorter fiction recently as well, with projects such as Netflix’s Love, Death + Robots, and a new anthology series based on horror author Nathan Ballingrud’s fantastic collection, North American Lake Monsters.
