World Tour 2013 - 2014 - day 319 There is no window on the Maasai hut (called 'Inkajijik'), so the inside is pretty dark and the air keeps fresh. This picture is taken just inside the entrance tunnel and some blurry effect appears due to the smoke coming from the inside fire. Circumstances: I reached a small city in south of Nairobi and intended to explore the bush, walking on my own. Eventually a local friend from Nairobi warned me of the risk of getting lost since Maasai villages (called 'Manyatta') are pretty hidden from vegetation. Thus I was introduced to a Maasai guy who took me by motorbike to his village, afar in the bush. I spent there a few days before leaving for Tanzania.
