⭐️ Guided Math Small Groups! ⭐️ This is such an important (and my favorite!) time of day in 1st grade! Here are a few tips that help my Guided Math groups run smoothly: • 1. Don’t have too many groups! I like to have 3! • 2. Have bins to organize materials for each group and organize manipulatives into pouches for each student in the group. • 3. Keep activities SIMPLE! My most-used small group tools are manipulatives, dry erase boards, and markers. I also love using math mats! 4. Use post-its for no prep exit slips!
