Firstly, people take social media waaay too seriously. They rely on it to feel connected and a social part of society. While at the same time studies are showing that social media is making us depressed as we now are able to compare ourselves to others 24/7 and feel like crap if our witty status didn't get as many likes as you would have hoped. If you look at my own personal facebook page, the last thing I posted as a status was just hoping everyone was safe in the awful storm that recently hit my hometown and a large chunk of NSW. My facebook page has my workplaces, but not their whereabouts, a vague mention of my city "Newcastle" and my relationship status. Yes you can google me and find out things, but most of that you'll probably learn from my blog. Ignoring the fact that I now use Facebook to promote Permanent Procrastination, I use it to keep in touch with friends. Friends by the rough definition of people I actually like and want to keep in contact with. People seem to have a hard time with Facebook, too many people can see their things, (change your privacy settings people!) unwanted comments on posts, (privacy settings again) and then people in real life who you either don't have on Facebook or potentially people who don't even have a Facebook, know what you're up to. Which is just downright creepy. Now while I can't stop my elderly family members calling each other up and chatting about how I went to see some movie with my longterm partner and seemed to have a good time. (There's worse things that they could be rambling about) I can stop people that I seriously don't like or have no interest talking to from seeing any of my business. Every now and then I like to scroll through my all of my Facebook friends and ask myself a simple question. Would I smile and say hello to this person down the street? It seems dumb but do you know how easy it is to accumulate people on Facebook that you would physically avoid if you saw them in person. Do you actually want those people to know anything about you at all? Because I don't. Screw those guys! People like that only want to know things about you so that they can talk about you to others in some sad jealous way most likely. If I don't want to talk to these people in person I definitely don't care what's happening in their lives and could care less if they knew what was going on in mine. I have just over 220+ friends on Facebook and I don't think that your personal profile is a social media site where you should just be collecting people. So to answer the opening question, If I don't (or wouldn't) talk to you in person then I don't want you on Facebook. Cya! xx Follow Me on Bloglovin' / Follow Me on Instagram
New York City was cold. Freezing in fact. The coldest weather I have ever been in, in my life. Lil ole Australia is generally more of a hotter climate, with the winter temperatures where I live, occasionally reaching maybe 10 degrees C (50F) at the lowest. In New York City I was ever so luckily subjected to -20 degrees C (-4F) which is bloody ridiculous. I wore quite a few layers. Including fleece lined tights, underneath my jeans. Then socks and shoes. I was only kind of prepared. Here is my basic daily outfit for while I was in New York City. Puffer Jacket with Faux Fur Hood | Cropped Fisherman Sweater | Twig Super High Waisted Jeans | Scoop Neck Tee | Dr Martens | You can see the rest of my gear and some accessories here. The only issue with dressing so warm was immediately sweating whenever you walked inside of a building and were faced with all of their heating. So wearing a short sleeved shirt under the sweater helped with that. Especially as my jacket was so so warm as it is lined with down. My Dr Marten boots were perfect as well for walking through puddles and snow being waterproof leather. My feet were a lot warmer than Josh's. (My Puffer Jacket is FatFace but it's no longer available online)

(If Disqus isn't working, commenting here would be fine too!) It would mean the world to me! Thanks so much! xxx

Building your dream home can be a fascinating process, but it can also be daunting if you don't know where to start. In this blog post, we will provide some helpful tips to those looking to build their dream home. We will cover everything from budgeting to finding the right builder for you. So, whether you are still only dreaming of your new home or have already started the process, this blog post is for you. 1) Create a BudgetThis will help you determine how much money you need to save or borrow and what kind of home you can afford. There are a lot of costs associated with building a home, so it is important to be realistic about your budget. If you are unsure where to start, many online resources can help you create a budget for your project. Additionally, if you already have a property with a home, you might want to look into why it might be better to knock down and rebuild than trying to find an empty block of land to start fresh. 2) Find the Right Contractor Once you have created your budget, the next step is to find the right team for your project. This is an important decision, as the quality of your home will largely depend on the builders you choose. When looking for a builder, be sure to research their experience and reviews from previous clients. You can also ask for recommendations from friends or family who have built before. Once you have found a few builders that you are interested in, be sure to get quotes from them. This will help you compare prices and find the best builder for your project. 3) Choose the Best Location This may seem like a daunting task, but there are a few things you can keep in mind to make the process easier. First, consider what kind of climate you want to live in. Do you want to be in a warm climate all year round, or do you prefer cooler temperatures? Are you moving far away or staying reasonably close to where you already live? You might want to choose a location close to amenities that are important to you. For example, if you have children, you may want to select a location close to good schools. Or, if you work from home, you may want to choose somewhere that you can have good internet access. 4) Start Building Your Home Now that you have a budget, a builder, and a location for your home, it is time to start the building process! This is where the fun begins. Be sure to stay involved in the project, and don't be afraid to ask questions. The more you know about the process, the easier it will be for you to make decisions along the way. Additionally, stay on top of the budget and don't let things get out of control. Building your dream home can be an exciting and rewarding experience, but it is also a lot of work and can quickly become more expensive than planned. Building your dream home is a huge undertaking, but it is possible with planning and research. By following these tips, you will be well on your way to creating the home of your dreams.

This makes it important to clean your bedding regularly. If you don’t you risk sleeping in a germ-ridden environment that can make you extremely poorly. In addition to this, our body sheds dead skin cells which also gather in the bedding making it even dirtier. If you want to keep your home germ-free change your bed cover, pillow covers and bottom sheet every few days, or at least once a week. Try To Avoid Clutter In Your Home You should aim not to have clutter in your home, having too many congested areas in your home can leas to dust-gathering, germs breeding and bacteria building. People procrastinate applying for jobs and people procrastinate progressing in their jobs. We all procrastinate differently, and we have all put off
The Internet has opened new realms of monetizing creative writing and analytical skills. Blogging is fast becoming an integral part of branding awareness and marketing campaigns by established businesses, including multinationals. With many businesses and organizations working overtime to increase traffic to their websites, bloggers are in high demand. Blogging is a lucrative gig that earns bloggers life-changing and fast money. However, the Internet is awash with bad advice on how to monetize blogs. Most of the recommendations treat blogging as a hobby, whose success is reliant on your passion and half-hearted efforts by bloggers. However, successful monetization of blogging goes beyond honing your writing skills. The following guide will hopefully help you scale up your blog into a moneymaker: Prepare in advanceBefore you fill a cup of coffee and start typing a blog post, ensure that you are ready for the journey ahead. You are better off with a memorable domain name, blogging software, and web hosting services. Let your website include thriving themes and features that captivate audiences. You can handle the technical bit of blogging with less hassle after installing the software in your web host. Opt for self-hosted, and open-source blogging software and tools that are free and easy to use. Choose and validate a blogging nicheBlogging allows you to write articles on numerous topics. Research your niche and ensure that you select an area that has the potential of eliciting reactions and generate traffic to your blogs. Your preferred topic or niche must show growth potential. Your audience must be interested in your blog posts to generate income. Study Google trends and analyze trending topics on social media. You can opt for commonly blogged niches while also leveraging your expertise. Invest in an app or software that helps you keep updated on the field. Software and SEO tools, such as MetaTrader 4, can help foreign exchange bloggers keep track of market movements in real-time. Base your topic choices on market demands and not solely on your passion. Create high-quality contentAlways be intentional with the articles you create. In-depth articles, written with the right keywords, tend to generate high traffic. Therefore, ensure that all your articles meet particular targets, especially in terms of traffic generation. Market your blogsDon’t be afraid to spend extra dollars on brand awareness and marketing. Remember, you are building a powerful brand that can earn you money, not a hobby. Use social media, such as Twitter, Pinterest, and Facebook, to generate traffic to your blog. Enlist the help of friends and loved ones to promote your blog on their social media handles. Alternatively, you could turn to websites like TokMatik to purchase followers, which will help to then gain organic followers once you've kickstarted your social media traffic. Source for and promote ads and affiliate linksIn addition to amazing content, you can also generate traffic and monetize your blog by promoting ads and affiliate links. You can use your email list to promote these ads and links. Additionally, you can include the links on your posts or website. Blogging is more than a hobby. You can generate income by monetizing your blogs. Start your blog and make money by purchasing a domain name and hosting services. Invest in tools and software to help you create unique content that generates traffic to your posts and affiliate links.
Autumn is a season like no other; you have the changing colours of the trees, a sharpness in the air, and plenty of seasonal coffees to choose from. Autumn is also a time for creativity and style, so make the most of it this year and design a wardrobe to enjoy this year and for many more. Jackets and JeansNothing says autumn quite like a jacket and jeans. Autumn is a time for cold air and warm drinks, but that doesn’t mean you need to break out the heavy coats just yet. The air is cooler in autumn, but there are still traces of summer left, especially early on, so stay on the light side. A jacket, such as a short denim jacket or a casual jacket, is the perfect clothing item to wear around town or on nights out with friends. Jeans are also an excellent shout. Not only do jeans match most outfits, but they are also warm and tough, ideal for town trips or trips to the pumpkin patch. Blazers and LoafersBlazers and loafers are all the rage online at the moment; chances are you’ve seen your favourite influencer wearing these chunky shoes with tiny socks. You might also have seen them wearing a blazer though this is less common. Why not set a trend with an oversized blazer this autumn? The combination of blazers and loafers is preppy and casual at the same time. Blazers give you an academic look, while loafers are a bit more casual, giving you a nice balance. If you want really connect with the season, choose seasonal colours for the blazer, such as pumpkin orange. Sweaters and Roll NecksWith the air getting colder and the nights drawing in, it’s time to get cozy with your clothing. Sweaters and roll necks are cozy and stylish for the autumn and the winter, so if you are looking for clothing to invest in for the next few months, look no further than these. Sweaters are perfect for cozy nights in with a warm drink and one of your favourite shows on Netflix, and if you want to increase the cozy levels, choose an oversized sweater as well. Roll Necks perform a similar function, but these are a little more sophisticated and flexible. Midi Dress and BootsMidi dresses are long dresses; they are usually defined by their length below the knees. This makes them ideal for autumn when the air is a little colder, and you want some additional coverage. Couple a midi dress with boots, and you have the perfect outfit for trips to town. Midi dresses are an excellent option for autumn because of their coverage, but they are also available in plenty of patterns to keep your style colourful and inspiring. Autumn is one of the most colourful seasons, so why not choose a dress that matches the changing leaves and trees? Checked ShirtsChecked shirts are in vogue at the moment. Although they can be associated with men and the lumberjack look, anyone can, especially when they are oversized or tailored to fit the figure. Again, autumn is one of the best times to break out the checked shirts. Checked patterns are colourful and versatile, probably why they are associated with the autumn season; additionally, they match with lots of other items such as jeans, midi skirts, short jackets, and more. Don’t forget to have a nice selection of checked shirts in your wardrobe this season. Seasonal T-shirtsT-shirts are the perfect versatile item to have in your wardrobe; these clothing items can be worn on their own or in combination with shirts and jackets to create the ideal outfit. Not only that, t-shirts are super personal, so you can wear T-Shirts With Sayings and personal decals. Seasonal t-shirts range from plain t-shirts in seasonal colours like orange, red, and green to t-shirts with iconic seasonal movies, games, and bands. What could be cooler than sporting a Halloween or Friday the 13th t-shirt this autumn or wearing one with an 80s goth band on it? Autumn HatsIn the summer, you might wear a straw hat or a sun hat to keep you from burning; in the winter, you might wear a beanie hat to prevent your ears from freezing. In the autumn, you need something that’s a little bit in between, something that keeps you warm but is also quite stylish. There’s good news; autumn is one of the best seasons to wear hats in. You can wear the same type of beanie hats you wear in winter, but in autumn, you might want to choose a different colour range. Felt hats and seasonal bucket hats are also excellent choices for a special season.
