The first batch is courtesy of the anime/manga Shokugeki no Soma (AKA Food Wars) I took a variation of the Pork one and made a beef filling. Simply substitute Steak for the Pork Belly. When I make the cheese ones, I've tried several cheeses. So far, my favorite is Babybel. I slice it into little cubes and the flavor is subtle and salty when mixed with the other ingredients. I usually make 1/4 recipe at a time, as I make much smaller rice balls. Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken Onigiri Filling 1 Chicken Tenderloin, cut into cubes 2-3 T Mrs Dash Salt Free Sweet Teriyaki Marinade 2-3 T Crushed Pineapple Marinate the Chicken with the Mrs Dash sauce for about 20 mins. Then dump Pineapple, Marinade, and Chicken into a small skillet and cook until chicken is done. Add a little more marinade if you need to. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and use and electric mixer to shred the chicken. If it seems dry, add a little more marinade or Pineapple. Fills 3-5 small onigiri.
