Barn Owl Tyto alba perched in a tree, this (wild) bird was just 13 metres away from me and Julie for nearly an hour! I had taken Julie on a photo tuition/Owl safari day, she had only ever had fleeting views of Barn Owls twice before, we saw at least 9 different individual Barn Owls, 3 of them giving us very close prolonged views, It was a real buzz to show someone these birds at such close range. The White Owl, 1856, William James Webbe
An etching from a series of satires made by painter Francisco Goya. It shows Goya having fallen asleep at his work station, plagued in a nightmare by owls and bats. The painting will activate when the user falls asleep while working. It will cause repeated night terrors that will constantly awaken the person out of fear. They will become extremely tired but unable to fall asleep and will dread work. They will also become more disgruntled and become annoyed with all winged animals.

Since I haven't done anything picture worthy, I am using these pictures from a facebook page The Forest Floor Apothecary. They are just the sweetest pictures and if you are on facebook I would follow them! Yes we got rain this week but on the whole it was much better than I thought it would be. I am still not sleeping great but a bit of an improvement. I read an article on magnesium. They showed a few things that low magnesium could cause and some of it was me. So I started taking it on Friday. I will give it a month to see if there is improvement. and yes one was sleep. The full moon was Sat but of course we were cloudy so I did not get to see it. I did get to spend some time with Sweet B. this weekend which I always love. And I did get time to sit on the porch. As I sit here tonight I can hear the rain coming from the hill in front of us. Have a wonderful week!

The Canvas Project is an art project created by Brazilian artist Gabriel Nardelli Araújo. The 28-year-old 'frees' well-known characters from classical paintings and puts them in the modern-day settings with the help of Photoshop. "The process is entirely digital, my works of art do not exist, at least so far, in physical form. It is done in Photoshop based on photos of places I visited and pictures that I had access to. Pictures of the famous paintings are made available online by the museums themselves in high-resolution files, which has greatly helped in the final quality of the digital artworks," he explained in an interview.
