Hello! This listing is for digital download only. It includes the instructions to create a cardboard and paper mâché sconce. It consists of 2 pages of instructions and 2 pages of templates. This is a fun craft for those of us who live in rentals or are otherwise not able to add additional electrical wiring to our spaces. This cardboard and paper mâché sconce is intended to be used with BATTERY-OPERATED CANDLES ONLY. This is a great project to add a bit of whimsy or mood lighting to your interior design. It would be great fun for a dorm room or a thematic dinner party! Plus, you can decorate it however you like. Does Delft inspire you? Bold stripes or checks? Petite florals? Castle-chic? This recycled craft is a perfect opportunity for you to experiment! (Please keep in mind that the samples I shared here are painted in my taste and mood when I made them, but nearly anything is possible. Follow your muse!) The resulting sconce is approximately 13.5" tall and 5" wide. It is lightweight and can be hung on drywall with just a small nail or push-pin. This tutorial is written in English, and all measurements are listed in inches. This project will take you a few afternoons to complete due to the drying time for the paper mâché and how complex/simply you decide to paint it. IMPORTANT: By purchasing this template, you acknowledge that the crafted sconce is only intended for battery-operated candles. For your safety, do NOT use real candles. (The battery-operated candles I used can be found on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/shop/corriebethmakes/list/DSWWMFE10TKC?ref=cm_sw_em_r_inf_list_own_corriebethmakes_dp_iJEcZzIsVca2j Other craft and home improvement stores carry them as well.) You will need a PDF reader such as Acrobat (or similar) to open the PDF file and a printer that prints US letter size paper or A4 paper. ------------------------------ For Etsy GUESTS, Etsy will automatically send you an email (that also has your receipt) containing a link to your downloadable file. If you ask Melbourne-based artist Daniel Agdag what he does, he’ll tell you that he makes things out of cardboard. However, this statement hardly captures the absurd complexity and detail of his boxboard and PVA glue sculptures that push the limits of the medium. Agdag is an award-winning creator of stop-motion films and this new series of work, Sets for a Film I’ll Never Make, feature a number of his structural experiments which he refers to simply as “sketching with cardboard”. Hello! This listing is for a digital download ONLY. The PDF includes the templates to make a large cardboard and paper mâché amphora. The final vase will be approximately 14" tall and 10" wide. You can decorate this large vase however you like to infuse a bit of whimsy or personality into your interior design! Are you inspired by Delft? Bold stripes or checks? Petite florals? This recycled craft is a perfect opportunity for you to experiment and play. (Please keep in mind that the samples I shared here are painted in my taste and mood when I made them but that nearly anything is possible. Follow your muse!) This listing includes the templates for a cardboard and paper mâché amphora/vase. It consists of a page of instructions and 13 pages of templates, plus additional tips and tricks. (It does not include painting patterns, just shapes.) This tutorial is written in English, and all measurements are listed in inches. Please note: This resulting amphora is not food/water safe. Paper mâché is NOT water-tight or proof. This is intended to be decorative. There is space inside to insert a glass or plastic cylinder. This project will take you a few afternoons to complete due to the drying time for the paper mache and how complex/simply you decide to paint it. If you made the paper mâché classic urn project I shared here, this one is just a bit more complex.... but so FUN!
