Ms. Hatch plays off that in her illustrations for this dinnerware wallpaper, available exclusively at Anthropologie.

OK....so you guys all know my husband retired last June right? When he was flying it was mostly on the weekends and I got pretty used to carving out my life during those times. On Sunday I was doing my "thang".....you know get up.....spend some time with my bestie [the computer] and then do a little cleaning and straightening at mi casa. I had a few tools out like the mop, broom, and vacuum and after about an hour he looks at me and says is somebody coming over? I give him a big fat stink eye and say nope.....this is usually what I do on the weekends you're just not around to see it. There is no "magic cleaning button" dude. Men....gotta love em right? Little lamb. Now back to regular good stuff like fabricfabulousness. It's no secret that Schumacher is one of my favorite lines. I have been known to sleep with a few samples just to show some love....wink In honor of The Pink Pagoda and her March Blue and White bash I thought I would post some of my favorite blue fabrics from them. I am pretty sure this one rates as #1. Pyne Hollyhock Indigo I have this fabric in my house [in another color way] and it just does it for me. Chiang Mai Dragon You know it...you love it. Katsugi It's just fun....period. Those are my top three. I could work a room using any one of them. But there's more.... I can't leave out Betwixt. In every color I might add. I have added a newcomer to the blue party. Queen of Spain. Isn't she a beaut? Another whimsical print called Firecracker. Nebaha Embroidery gives us a great chevron and greek key all wrapped up in one. Mehndi Linen and this fabulous large scale pattern that would look great on a chair or curtains. And last is Sikar Embroidery. There you have my favorites. And they really are. Now Schumacher I have a teeny tiny small favor to ask. I am on my knees begging [the love of fabric and wallpaper has no shame ] I want this wallpaper. Celerie Kimble/ Acanthus Stripe In the worst way. I'm serious....I need so little.... but wouldn't it be great if you gifted it to me? Yes I just said that. I am a long time Schumacher fan [I have a 22 year old Schumacher wallpaper in my master bath AND I still love it] and it's my birthday this week. I will wear a I Love Schumacher t shirt for a month everywhere I go. I will bring the girls at ADAC cookies. Please consider my shameless plea. For the love of God. Anxiously awaiting. Shaschumacher

West coast modern styling and bold, playful patterns have come together in The Traverse Collection by Vancouver designers Lemonni and Willow & Stump Furniture Design. The collaboration features functional ash furniture with a variety of textile accents. The partnership came about when Annie Chen of Lemonni met Kaly Ryan and Bram Sawatzky of Willow & Stump Furniture Design at IDS Vancouver 2016. The three were excited to find a way to showcase a shared appreciation for clean, modern design with playful features. Annie’s experience with pattern, graphic design, and textiles, along with Kaly and Bram’s woodworking and Industrial Design background allowed the team to explore new mediums and design ideas while still maintaining separate roles in the project. The result is a five-piece collection that marries wood and pattern in new ways while maintaining values of quality craftsmanship, local production, and functionality.
