I recently had a request to make a couple Christmas cards for someone, and this is one of them. I used a Spellbinders Poinsettia set of dies to create the flower, adding some yellow gemstones to the center. I embossed the background with a KaiserCraft music embossing folder and wrapped it with some retired gold SU! ribbon, then added a KaiserCraft die-cut Christmas sentiment from gold mirror card and called this one done! I'll share this with the following challenges: Let's Squash It Challenge #3 - use any embossing folder and dies (or fussy cutting) Make My Monday Challenge#137 - Christmas Themed Card Thanks for stopping by during this busy time of the year and I hope you and yours are healthy and well. I'm really enjoying playing with the Sleigh Ride Edgelits in the Holiday Mini Catalog. So many options and so little time! Combine with Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum and you have a beautiful card. With the vellum, you can use both sides for two different effects. One side with the silver up is beautiful and the way it was designed. Flip it over with the silver side down and the snowflakes are white. Also beautiful! Remember, since vellum shows where you place your glue, glue dots or any adhesive, be sure to cover the dot with bling. The snowflakes are perfect for this! Which way do you do your vellum? White? or Silver? Thank you for looking in today! Happy Thursday! ~ Donna
Hello! Today I’ve got another pretty trio of cards that are all sentiment based for our TCP Tuesday Challenge to make sentiments your focus. A couple of weeks ago one of our former youth students got married and one of the colours she loves is blue so I tried to pull together some ideas that might work and ended up making three cards. On this first design I started by using the beautiful Sketchy Flowers and stamping the solid posies and leaves in Pacific Point ink onto Pacific Point cardstock. Once that was dry I used the outline stamp from the flowers and leaves and stamped that overtop using VersaMark ink and then added silver embossing powder to make it all shimmery and shiny...and more wedding-like. I cut out several Always words from our CutUps Die, layered and glued them together and then added some shimmery silver paint on top. Silver really pops on the deep blue. Some dribbles of silver paint and then some sequins finish it off. This next design was what I originally had in mind for the wedding card, but of the trio I made, it's my least favourite, There's something about the layout that doesn't seem to work for me. But, I'll show it to you anyways. :) Similar idea for both cards, I think it's the positioning of the flowers that I'm not really sure about. Something isn't quite right for me in the layout! On this last design I thought I'd do an all over posie feel again and then add a different sentiment peeking out of the bottom of the card. This is a really great way to showcase sentiments and also the extra glitz of embossing! So have you jumped in on the TCP Sentiment Challenge yet? Here's the deets to enter and win: Every other Tuesday a new challenge will be posted on The Cat’s Pajamas blog and our Facebook page. If you want to play along you just upload your design to The Cat’s Pajamas blog page using the InLinkz button by the Monday, 11:55 EDT before the next challenge. As promised I'm back with a card to show you. I made this one for Stamp Club today. I had been casing some of the lovely Fabulous Florets cards I had seen and used up the extra flowers to design a card of my own. I did one both ways. I have used Baja Breeze and black. Just a quick post. back soon with more.

Good morning! Today I thought I'd share the follow-up video using this month's Kit of the Month from Unity Stamp Company - same cards as yesterday, just different colors, and this time the Quick Tip video is on how I added shading and dimension to my paper piecing with Copics and a white gel pen! Here is the video: And here is a closer look at each of them - isn't it fun how the Copic markers almost make it look like you have done more layered paper-piecing? And seriously - paper pieced plaid ornaments? SOOOO fun!!! Product links are all below - including affiliate links where possible, which simply means if you use one of the links below that I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Hello friends. I am sharing a card I made for a couple at church using my new stamps and dies, so I am linking it up at The Flower Challenge #29 - Use your latest Stamps or Dies. The flowers are from Sunny Studio Everything's Rosy. I stamped them with 3 shades of blue and the leaves with 3 shades of green. I then die cut them with the matching dies. The flowers are mounted with foam tape and the leaves are just glued down. The die cut panel is made with Sunny Studio Frilly Frames-Lattice. The sentiment is a Verve stamp and I punched it with a SU punch and mounted it with foam tape. Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look. I appreciate it when you take the time to leave me a comment. I hope you have a wonderful day. Happy Stamping, JoAnn

Making a short break from Thassos posts, just to show you this amazing vest I got from SheInside.com and I just love it. You can find it here. I saw similar in Mango earlier and didn't buy it, don't know why, but I've imagined it in so many combinations ever since. Well now you can see it on me in this "white on white" trendy outfit. I love this trend so much, cause is there a better time to wear white then in summer? I added a pop of color on my bag and my new plastic chain bracelets. You'll find at the end of the post some "white on white" combos that inspired me. Do you like this trend? Or is it too much for you? Sada je konačno tu i vidite ga u ovoj "white on white" trendi kombinaciji. Ili vam je možda "too much" ? :) Maja vest/prsluk: SheInside.com (here) t-shirt/majica: New Yorker shorts/sorc: Zara shoes/cipele: Asos bag/torba: Michael Kors bracelets/narukvice: Ringeraja (here) necklace/ogrlica: H&M ring/prsten: H&M ROMWE HAS ANOTHER SALE! Hello friends! As I was playing with the Kind Soul stamp set from WPlus9 (where Dawn skillfully combined petunias and anemones) I started thinking about other flowers I can combine with newly released petunias from the Petunia Builder set to form beautiful floral arrangements. After a quick look through my stash I came across an older
