Otherwise, you won’t have a good time. Here’s the first thing you should know before traveling to Positano on Italy’s Amalfi Coast: 🏖️ My first Positano travel tip is to book your spot at @ristorantelincantopositano beach club in advance to make sure you get a spot. This is the famous beach club with the blue and white umbrellas with the iconic view of Positano’s cliffs. 🏝️ Positano is SO busy this year and it’s definitely possible the beach club will be sold out if you just show up 💵 From June 15 to September 15 (peak season), 2.loungers in the front row is €80 and 2 loungers in any other row costs €70. In low season, it’s €70/2 for the front row and €60/2 for any other row. 💰 They also charge a small online processing fee of €3.99/2 loungers, but I think it’s worth it to prebook. 🍕 At the beach club, you can use a QR code to order food + drinks right to your chair. It is a bit pricey - an Aperol Spritz was €14, a margarita pizza was €16 and a bottle of water was €6. 👙 You also get access to changing rooms and showers, which is so key if you’re staying further up the cliff (like we were). There are also showers for rinsing off but those cost extra to use. 🪨 This beach isn’t sandy - it’s made up of small rocks/pebbles. And they can get quite hot in the sun. So at a minimum, bring flip-flops, or you can bring water shoes for more protection. A lot of people just had flip-flops and wore them up to the edge of the water. Do you think these (high) prices are worth it? 📍 L’Incanto Beach Club on Spiaggia Grande in Positano”
