Southdown 674 is seen travelling through North End in Portsmouth heading north to the Berg Estate, this was a newish housing deveopment west of Waterlooville, this service turned right down Park Avenue at Widley and would have gone through Purbrook, Stakes Road, Crookhorn and Stakes Hill Road to Waterlooville and finally to the Berg Estate, this photo would have been from the mid- sixty's, in the background can be seen Smeeds the Off Licence, F.W. Woolworth & the Odeon Cinima. 274AUF was latter sold to East Kent after a very short life with Southdown. This photo is a scan from an old photo from my collection, there is no copywrite on the back.
