Yachae Jeon 야채전, which literally translates to vegetable pancakes, are Korean vegetables pancakes that can easily be customised to your liking. For my version of Yachae jeon, I used a mix of zucchini, sweet potato, carrots, onions, and scallions but you can also use vegetables such as bell pepper, cabbage, etc.I also made my own dipping sauce to pair with this vegetable jeon or vegetable pancake.
Gerbeaud Cake (Zserbó) is a delicious layered yeast cake with an apricot walnut filling, covered in thin chocolate glaze. Traditionally it is a holiday dessert, made at Christmas or Easter time. Gerbeaud cake is probably the best known Hungarian dessert, I grew up eating it all the time.

Malassadas is called by a lot of names: Filhos, Portuguese Donuts, Fried Dough or Beaver Tails. The name may vary but one thing we all agree on is that they are delicious!!!Growing up my mom would make malassadas just for special occasions. Her malassadas would be light and airy with a hint of lemon. Sometimes she wouldn’t the dough but instead make little balls of dough, which was like our version of donut holes.
