"Explore the bouquet of dreams, where blooms weave a tapestry of aspirations, embodying the hopes and promises that spring carries."
This lovely chap was from St. Columba falls, in the NE of Tasmania. I photographed this species a few times, but this was my favourite. It's a twenty two photo stack, which took over ten hours to do, mostly due to the cobwebs, which as anyone who has tried will tell you, is bloody tricky to do! The detail is worth having a look at.... The three blobs of liquid are drops of water, stained by tannins from the wood she's standing on. I've now realised that my computer is failing, which has made my colours impossible to judge. I've been re-editing them, not really thinking any more about it. I only properly began to worry yesterday, when I noticed that all my re-edited photos had become over contrasted again, highlights blown out and blacks smothering detail. So I looked at my recent Flickr photos with an iPad instead and went, "Oh shit." They look terrible. So it looks like I've been uploading duff photos, which I think has made them look a bit washed out, or yellowish and it's finally come to a head and got too bad to ignore. So apologies. Obviously, not excusing my often just bad photography... I'm buying another computer in the next few days so fingers crossed. This photo was from before the problems happened, I think, so please let me know if it's OK.
