Hello and welcome, Tonight, I'll be blog hopping along with the ladies from Art With Heart Team and we are up to week 4. I've been wanting to join in the hop, but I've been busy and I also came back from holidays in New Zealand with the family. I'll try join in when I can, as I just love making Christmas cards and other projects. The Heart of Christmas blog hop will be on Monday at 8pm each week until November 28th. I'm so excited to see everyone's beautiful creations, so make sure you hop around. I'll have the link at the end of my blog. I've created two projects a slimline card and a gift tag using products from the Stampin' Up! July - December 2023 Mini Catalogue. I've used the Decorated with Happiness bundle (159711) 10% bundle savings is located on page 27 I love the hand drawn sketched style images and the variety of detailed die images for your projects. I've also used the Celebrations Tag Dies (159866) which is located on page 67 this die set comes with tags, banners, labels and other shapes. I'm really looking forward to creating with this set over the coming months. Christmas Slimline Card To create the slimline card I've used Evening Evergreen Cardstock cut at 21.5 x 18.2cm, score at 9.1cm. Crumb Cake Cardstock cut at 8.6 x 21.2cm. The Decorated with Happiness stamp set is a Two-Step stamp set, it allows you to layer two or more images. It's also a Distinktive stamp set which has special texture that gives added depth and dimension, creating photo-realistic images. I've used the large pine boughs image and stamped a number of times in Evening Evergreen ink which gives you depth. I also added Evening Evergreen and Crumb Cake ink with the Blending Brush to the panel. There are so many different dies from the Decorated Pine Dies to use, so I decided to use the the large pine boughs die and die-cut in Evening Evergreen Cardstock. The baubles and bells are die-cut out in Real Red Cardstock and Red Glimmer Paper. To create the label, use Stylish Shapes Dies to create a smaller label for your sentiment by die-cutting the cardstock across the cardstock for a cute, stitched look. I really love the Textural Elements with a natural wooden element to your paper craft, I added some colour for the berries using dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blend. I used the fine tip end. Christmas Gift Tag I wanted to create a gift tag to go with the card and I haven't used the new Celebrations Tag Dies yet. This cute die has lovely detail with some stitching and scalloped edging. Using Crumb Cake Cardstock for the gift tag and stamping the pine boughs stamp onto the tag. Keeping with the same colours as the card, I've added Real Red Ribbon with Linen Thread and Real Red Cardstock and Glimmer Paper for the bell. I've fussy cut out the sentiment. Now it's time to visit Sharon Davern I can't wait to see her beautiful Christmas project. Sharon is also the host of the hop with all of the list of the participants, click here to see the list Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love hear your thoughts on my project by leaving a comment below. You guys are going to LOVE this easy new fancy fold! It looks super complicated, but is just a couple of scores and one extra little piece. Here's how amazing it looks unfolded! isn't that just too cool? All you do is make an accordion on one side of the door, then add a little tent piece. Unlike a lot of fancy folds, this one gives you plenty of room to write in AND it stands up by itself, as well as fitting into a regular sized medium envelope. Bonus! Walk through the whole card with me, including measurements and...

One of the most popular bundles in the 2017 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog is the Christmas Quilt Bundle. It's easy to see why!! It's a versatile stamp set that makes elegant cards which appeal to almost anyone who has ever snuggled deep into a homemade quilt on a chilly night! This is one of the cards I created for Fall Flair and it was so much fun to make! I've made of lot of them and it never gets tiring . . . although my friends Cindy Standal and Kathy Trussel might feel differently as they worked on

Today I am sharing the cards made for my November classes featuring the gorgeous Christmas Pinecones Dies using Stampin' Up! products
After another Christmas of last minute creating I've vowed to have all this year's Christmas cards ready to mail by 1 December. A bit more scary now I've put my goal out there. Even better for you, I've decided to post a Christmas project (or three) on the first Friday of each month to help you get creating earlier too. So welcome to my first Festive Friday share. I wish I could say that I've made my first batch of cards this month, but I do have some favourites from last Christmas to share with you, featuring the Hearts Come Home stamp set & Hometown Greetings thinlits die set. I was so happy these carried over from the Holiday Catalogue, as I love the intricacy of the die cuts they're so useful for lots of cards & occasions other than Christmas too. Blue Christmas This was one of my Christmas class projects & I liked it so much it became one of my personal Christmas cards too. It was surprisingly easy to mass produce too which is always a plus. My favourite bit is the layered front, which you can see when the card is open. The three house layers are night of navy (cut from the base), marina mist (same size piece as the front) & soft sky, and I added a stamped, white panel inside. The soft sky was popped up off the front on dimensionals for the class version, but not for my Christmas cards to protect them more in the post. I silver heat embossed the sentiment from Hearts Come Home on the soft sky piece & added some of my favourite silver washi (now retired). Use some regular silver foil in place of it. Tips: To strengthen the scene is to adhere a second die cut church (marina mist layer) behind it. You can cut this from the scrap left over from the main cut. If you're popping up the soft sky layer I'd also recommend you cut & adhere another house & tree behind the far right ones. U-Bridge fold scene This card was another elegant favourite. I used the same graded colour idea, this time in shades of grey instead of blue. I based this one on another fab u-bridge card by the fabulous Amanda Bates. The base card is basic grey with a white & die cut basic grey panel attached to the centre back , and the middle smoky slate layer is held in place with two tabs. I silver heat embossed the sentiment & added more silver washi. This was really my most used accessory from Christmas. Santa & his sleigh got a glittery Wink of Stella finish on top to add a little more sparkle A simple white panel & sentiment finishes off the back. I love the sentiments from Hearts Come Home. Oh, in case you haven't seen a u fold card before, it's good to know it folds flat to fit into a C6 envelope for posting. Silver Christmas My final card for today is a combination of both cards - the design of the first & the colours of the second. I considered this one for my own cards, but in the end I couldn't resist using the blues. Which one would you have chosen? Well that's it for my first Festive Friday. Thanks for visiting today & I hope you enjoyed seeing the cards. Do pin them for Christmas inspiration if you did. Hearts Come Home & Hometown Greetings are available until 31 May, but I'd recommend you order them by 31 March during Sale-a-bration, you'll get to choose a FREE Sale-a-bration stamp set or other goodie too when you get them both. A blog about paper crafting and paper design.
I'm so excited to share this card template with you because it is not only easy to put together, but has so many variations to try!
I shared a card with you yesterday and I promised I would share a more version as well. So here it is… The card base is Evening Evergreen cardstock that is cut 5 ½ x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”. Now this part is the same as yesterday’s card. I cut two pieces of coordinating Designer Series Paper from the Tidings of Christmas 6 x 6” papers. I like to make my 6 x 6” papers goes as far as they can so you will see I did a little maneuvering with these to make more cards. First I selected the DSP I wanted for the top of my card and I cut off a piece that is 2 x 6” (this will be saved for another card) then I took the remaining 4 x 6” piece and cut it in half to make 2 pieces that are 3 x 4” which is the top of my card (so I have pieces to make two cards). For the bottom of the card, I selected another piece of DSP that I thought went well with my first selection and I again cut off a 2 x 6” piece and this too got set aside for another card. With my remaining 4 x 6” piece I cut three pieces that were 2 x 4” this became my bottom (with two left for future cards). Now if I loved both sides of the paper and they went well together I could have simply taken that 2 x 6” piece and made it a 2 x 4” and made it the bottom. Ok, now that I have rambled about how to make the most of your paper lets go forward. So, I attached my two pieces of DSP leaving a ¼” reveal on the top of the card base, the bottom of the card base and on both sides of the card base. This leaves a little gap between the two DSP pieces in the center so to solve that I cut a piece of Soft Succulent cardstock that measured ½ x 4” and laid it over the gap then I thought it needed more so I added a piece of Evening Evergreen over that that measured ¼ x 4”. Next, I stamped my sentiment which is from the Tidings & Trimmings Bundle onto a piece of Basic White cardstock this time I used Evening Evergreen ink and then I die cut it using one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies. This I attached to the top right of the card using Dimensionals. I used the dies from the bundle to cut my stars, they were cut out of Evening Evergreen, Night of Navy, Soft Succulent, and Sahara Sand cardstock. I layered them on one another and then attached them to the card using Dimensionals. This is pretty much where I stopped on yesterday’s card but to add a little more to this one, I punched out some sprigs using the Sprig Punch, I punched two from Gold Foil, one from Soft Succulent and one from Evening Evergreen cardstock and I tucked them up under the starts. What do you thing? Doesn’t it add a little extra to the card? I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it. As always you can find the supplies to create this card and much more on my website at https://craftwithronnie.stampinup.net or by click the shopping button at the top of this blog or the link to the supplies listed below.
