Hallo allemaal!
Last week for my Facebook Live Class I shared this off-center z-fold card featuring an upcoming new stamp set that will debut in the 2017 Occasions Catalog on January 4th. The stamp set, Beautiful You
Last Monday night my parents drove to Minnesota from Pennsylvania for a week long visit. My mom and I had wanted to attend OnStage earlier in the year and we had put it off too long. When I told her I was able to find 2 tickets, they planned their visit around last Saturday so that I could attend OnStage with my mom (who is also my upline). I had a little surprise I was bursting at the seams to share with her! We drove to Madison Friday and had a nice mother/daughter visit and then Saturday we had some more fun! I am so honored and privileged to have been named on of the new members of Stampin' Up!'s Artisan Design Team!!! This is such a dream come true and I am still on cloud 9! If you are unfamiliar with the Artisan Design Team (ADT), Stampin' Up! selects a limited number of demos worldwide from submissions of cards, project life pages, etc. There are 20 demos worldwide (7 from the US). To be chosen by SU! to make samples for the blog hop and SU's homepage is so amazing and humbling! For my friends that didn't make it this year - keep reaching for your dream! <3 Isn't this box gorgeous?! I received a beautiful bracelet too! And honestly, my favorite thing - this personalized stamp! Whoop whoop! I shared the excitement in Madison with Mindy B too who was also named an Artisan! So well deserved too! Love her! I also got to see some great stamping friends (but we've never met in person!) Lori Brausen, Dena Rekow, Marisa Gunn and Becky Cowley I want to thank my husband (who will most likely never read this) for being my biggest support! My mother has been a very close second and I'm so grateful for her too! Thanks to all my customers and online friends that have encouraged me along the way! I cannot wait to share with you the exciting products SU! is releasing soon! In fact, do you want to see a sneak peek?? I won a beautiful new stamp set called Beautiful You. It has some great sentiments and 3 pretty sketched girls. It reminds me of an old set - Seaside Sketches? I knew I wanted to play along with it and the new Stitched Shapes Framelits as soon as I got back home. Here is what I came up with using the color challenge from the Global Design Project. When I first saw this set pop up on the Prize Patrol screen, I was kind of hoping my letter wouldn't be called - but boy am I delighted it was the set I won! This set gets better then more I look at it. I can't wait to create more with it! For these two cards, I used a sheet of Emerald Envy DSP from the Fiesta DSP pack. I also wanted to highlight the new Stitched Shapes Framelits. The girl is actually framed with the largest square framelit but I "stretched" it by only cutting half at a time and elongating it. My favorite sentiment from this set is this one. So so pretty! The other perk about having my mom here to visit is that she was able to fix my sewing machine! Love the look of real stitching mixed with the faux stitching. :) Here is another version of the card - a little simpler. Thank you so much for stopping by! Be a blessing, Holly
Mary made this pretty card for our Team Swap featuring the Occasions catalog. What a pretty and perfect layout for this stamp set! It's Blushing Bride with Sahara Sand, Vanilla and Gold details. That beautiful designer paper is the new Falling in Love paper. Put it on your list if it's not there already; it is so very soft with photo-like details. I believe she cased it from Amy K. The Designer Paper is 2 5/8" X 3 5/8"; the...
CARD This gorgeous card made it's debut on Tuesday's Stampin Scoop Show (Episode 25). Created with the new Beautiful You stamp set that is coming out in the 2017 Occasions Catalog. The lace image is from the Sale-a-bration Delicate Details stamp set. The background paper is from the Falling in Love DSP.
So, I really felt like I was in the Chanel studios lately, knocking out some sample sheets with colours and patterns! And that is the one utterly amazing thing about Stampin' Up!s product range! They make it so darn easy...

Beautiful You is one set where the name speaks for itself, it is just beautiful. I was one of the lucky ones to win this set as prize patrol at #onstagelive2016. For those who are not familiar with prize patrol is, it is just another way of saying prize giveaways. It felt like I scored because this comes in a double box set, without a doubt the best one out of all the prize patrol. Once I started to play with it, I just couldn't stop, I kept making more and more. The creative juices kept flowing on and on. So much so that I've had to break up the post in various parts to be able to showcase each design. So stay tuned for them all to be revealed one by one. Here is the first design: This image is my favourite from this set because doesn't really reveal much about the girl as she has her back to us. But I think that is what makes it more intriguing, she can be who ever you want her to be. Here I wanted her dress to pop out a little, so I stamped and punched out a petal from the bunch of blossoms, and used it as the lower half of the dress. I am quite happy with how it turned out, it actually looks like she has vintage dress on. On the right is another card that I made with the same image minus the petal dress, just to give you an idea of what a difference it makes. To make the dress pop out a little, I used dimensional adhesive to lift it. To give it the look of a rainy and windy day, I stamped the brush stroke images from the same stamp set with soft sky ink. The umbrella is coloured with crushed curry. staying with the vintage look, I decided to tear the edges and sponge with the same colour as the dress, emerald envy. To finish it off, I put my sewing skills to work, giving it a stitched frame. I had heaps of fun with this card, can' t wait to reveal some of my other creations with this set.
Hello, crafty friends. I'm finally back from my absence of posting. My husband had surgery and I have been taking care of him. Things are improving and he is finally getting around much better. Tha
Hello Stampers! Here is one of the very first cards I have made using the "Beautiful You" stamp set available soon in the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog that goes live on January 4th. Sale-a-Bration, Stampin' Up!'s biggest sale of the year, starts at the same time!! Very few supplies were needed for this card. I did this one using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the figures very close to each other. I did another card without using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. It turned out good too but the figures were a little further apart. This is a regular size A2 card (finished size 5.5" x 4.25") I stamped all the ladies first with Tuxedo Black memento ink then stamped all but one dress with Smokey Slate ink. Finally I stamped the sentiment and the last dress in Real Red classic ink. The 'Hello You' thinlits were used to cut the "you" out of Real Red card stock.Very subtle and hard to see on the photo are the three tiniest pearls I added for a necklace on the lady in red. Hope you love the simplicity as much as I do. Click on the icon below to get everything you need for this project...except the Beautiful You stamp set which will not be available until January 4th. Thank You So Very Much for Beautiful You. Juana Create.
I'm just loving the Beautiful You stamp set with the gorgeous line drawing images of three different ladies and a fantastic variety of sentiments. The great thing with this set is that you can add a few extra details to change the look of the image completely. The original image is quite Parisian and I wanted an extravagant elegant look with feathered headgear and a couple of accessories. So I used the mirror technique to create two ladies using an acrylic block to stamp and create the mirror ( see yesterdays post for original technique). I then made the free longer and coloured everything using our lovely watercolour pencils and then hand drew a parasol and handbag on each image. I sponged round the edge of the card in same tonal colours, rich razzleberry and then dapper denim on the outside to give depth. The finished card was blinded up with a bit of sparkle using our dazzling details, which being waterbased too just blended some of the highlights and added some sparkle. I love how this card turned out. To buy this wonderful stamp set and the watercolour pencils click on the link above and use me Jane Allmark as your demonstrator of choice. Thanks for watching and there will be another image soon with an Art Deco feel using the same image.

Today I'm sharing 14 brilliant swaps featuring the fabulous Beautiful You stamp set (from the 2017 Occasions Catalog). Life may not be the party we had hoped for, but while we're here, we might as well dance. Doesn't that stamp just say it all? The rest can be expressed by the other stamps in this set (includes 8 greetings!). You'll love the artistic feel of this set, without the work--stamp a color wash image over a silhouette for color, or add your own color with Watercolor Pencils or ink. Brilliant, right? Lots of great ideas for creating beautiful cards using...
