The first time I went to Greece in 1982 I particularly appreciated this beautiful statue. The "horny" Pan making unwelcome advances to the beautiful Aphrodite seemed so lifelike. I revisited it again in 2004. Still beautiful :) She is holding her sandal in her right hand just about to whack Pan. I am not too sure if Eros is encouraging or discouraging Pan, though.
