This dragon was made as part of my final project during my time in 3D Animation and Visual Effects program at Vancouver Film School. It allowed me to further develop my skills in 3D Modeling, Texturing, Surfacing and Look Development, while pushing myself to pursue an area new to me. It has been one of the most challenging but rewarding works I've done so far and I learnt a lot in the process. Special thanks to Manuel Armonio and Adriyan Tandia for their countless hours of support and feedback, to Alwyn Hunt, Sari Rodrig, Rakesh Sandhu and David Kim for taking the time to answer so many questions about Look Dev, Surfacing and Texturing, to all my VFS teachers, and all those whom I contacted along the way to ask for advice and experience. Without a doubt, this journey would not have been possible without them. Another very special thanks to Alexandra GaudiBuendia Khitrova for letting me base my dragon on her beautiful concept art. gaudibuendia.artstation.com
Raymondville man bat- North American cryptid: a huge leathery bat creature attacked a man in his porch in Raymondville, Texas. It was described as being 6-7 ft tall, 10-12ft wing span, had fiery red eyes, and had a monkey like face.
