I use a beautiful Mendini by Cecilio instrument, one of the best rated among lower priced brands. The violin is model MV300. The viola is a model MA 350. Both have an antiques solidwood spruce top with maple sides and back. Both have a very nice sound and excellent finishing. The antique satin finish they start with is very low luster. After painting the design, I rub on a protective coat of polyurethane varnish to give a timeless-looking semi-gloss finish reminiscent of hand-rubbed oil. I also make sure everything is in good order for playing. It will come with a padded semi-hard case, brazilwood/Mongolian horsehair bow, rosin, and extra strings. The violin also comes with a shoulder rest. Other designs can be painted, but message first to discuss. International orders may add import duty upon pickup. Please check ahead with your postal service. Violin upgrades can be requested.
