Ted on Instagram: "Some templar close ups. As can be seen I sometimes use different tones and techniques from model to model. Even for the same scheme. One of the reasons for this is testing out recipes. I rarely bother going back as it wont be seen on the table top or even in your display cabinet. My point here is dont worry too much about exact tones and techniques. Variety is a good thing. @warhammerofficial #paintingwarhammer #blacktemplars #templar #hobby #paintingwarhammer40k #warhammer #40k #warhammercommunity #primaris #spacemarines #primarismarines #minis #hobbyprogress #citadel #citadelminiatures #miniaturepainting #sharethehobbylove #hobbylove #akinteractive #scalemodel #gamesworkshop #paintingminis #minipainting #miniaturepainting #paintingminiatures #scalemodelling #mini
The Aett on Instagram: "Here is the finished product! Conversion was really fun to do! I had some phenomenal advice from @valbjorn throughout the sculpting process, as well as access to his excellent patreon- which I cannot recommend more highly! This spectacular brushwork was done by @swarm_painting , if you don’t already follow him - I’d highly recommend it! Thanks brother! I guess all we have to do now is name him! #warhammer #warhammer40k #warhammercommunity #warhammerpainting #gamesworkshop #gamesworkshop40k #paintingwarhammer #paintingwarhammer40k #spacemarine #spacemarines #spacemarines40k #spacemarine40k #spacewolves #spacewolves40k #spacewolf #spacewolf40k #paintingminiatures #miniatures #miniaturepainter"
Russ (yes, actually) on Instagram: "Wanted a bit more of The Rout to come through on this Brutalis Dreadnought so I repurposed some unused bits from the Stormwolf. Loooots of cutting and chopping but I think it came out pretty good, especially that back piece. I can't now remember exactly when Bristol Parkway Station opened, but I think it can only have been active for a few years at the time of this photo, Friday 19th July 1974. I suppose some clever member of the BR board must have spotted what was quite obvious really ...that the London-South Wales trains skirted the northern extremities of Bristol. Why not build a station on the cheap, stop some of the trains there and see if we pick up any extra passengers? There was a lavish provision of free parking. It was another opportunity for the railways to try to persuade us that train travel was so fast ...sorry, "high-speed"... and up-to-date that it was barely distinguishable from air travel. Once you had bought your ticket you had to go and sit in a quasi departure lounge and weren't allowed onto the platform until your train/flight had been called. After a while, thank God, they dropped this idea and you could go out into the fresh air to wait for your train. The idea must have been accounted a success and was copied elsewhere. There was a Mansfield Parkway and one or two others I think. When I passed this way a few months ago I saw that the mean, early 70s brick structure had been replaced by something altogether more permanent and moderne. This was during one of my All-Line Rail Rover holidays. I had left Bristol (Temple Meads) early that morning and travelled to London via Portsmouth, returning on a train for South Wales. I took this photo while I was waiting for a bus to take me home. The "Western" is reversing its train into the siding on the south side of the station.
Last Sunday saw me family chauffeuring again and I had another hour to spare which resulted in my dashing over for a quick visit to Winter...
