Dusk Over Rooftops Canvas captures the tranquil beauty of a cityscape at dusk. The scene depicts rooftops bathed in warm, golden hues from the setting sun, with the silhouettes of distant skyscrapers against the evening sky. The foreground features a cozy, intimate rooftop terrace setup, offering a peaceful retreat above the bustling city. This artwork beautifully portrays the interplay of light and shadows across the city's rooftops, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere that contrasts with the lively urban environment below.

~REFLECTIONS~ I live by a principle, a thought, that evereything that you reflect to the world will be reflected back to you. That's why you can expect that the world will reflect back only what you have reflected into the world. I hope that my reflection is enjoyable.

Title: Summer Night Aires I have always been thrilled with nature’s cacophony after dusk. All manner of insects are declaring, “I am here!” and they mate as if their lives depend on it, and it does! Frogs and bullfrogs emphatically trill their throaty songs signaling their presence and carnal willingness. Occasionally, coyotes howl, a pack of dogs bark, owls hoot or screech, adding their solos and arias to the musical mix. These intertwining melodies are not intended for our ears, but are a pleasure to experience in the dark of night. No watermark will appear on the print! Recently I had the chance to visit the enchanting city of Riga in the tiny Baltic republic of Latvia. For my painting Sunset Over Riga, Latvia, I attempted to capture the elusive light of dusk. When you paint as the sun is setting, God sets the timetable. Riga, Latvia, is one of the grand old cities of Europe, considered to be the romantic heart of the Baltic. We are fortunate to live in an era when this historic treasure with its picturesque medieval districts, can once again be celebrated by all. Sunset Over Riga, Latvia displays the vast sweep of the ancient city, in the manner of El Greco's "View of Toledo." Dominated by the soaring spires of St. Peter's on the square and the Dome Church, the skyline flickers with a thousand points of light, creating a festive atmosphere. Enjoying the sunset view, I am not surprised to learn that Riga is the historic home of the world's very first Christmas tree. From the publisher: "The incredible world of the animals, plants, and other natural phenomena that live their lives throughout the night. Most living things are active as long as the sun shines on the sky, but at dusk, when the light dims, life continues. The moonlight illuminates the Earth, plants come to life, animals awaken and some organisms glow like jewels in the dark. For these creatures, plants and natural phenomena, the night falls and another day begins." Aimed at the 7-11 years age bracket. Format: Hardback
