Le dernier-né de mes rhums arrangés est un rhum arrangé coco-vanille, une boisson qui sent bon les tropiques ! Le plus long dans la recette des rhum arrangés, c’est d’attendre le temps de la macération, 3 mois minimum ! Sur les photos, le mien a 4 mois de macération … et oui, j’ai réussi à tenir! Il faut dire que j’avais bien planqué la bouteille jusqu’au moment où je trouverais le temps de prendre mes photos … pour vous faire saliver… et parce que c’est une recette qui méritait d’être partagée ! La macération lui a donné de belles couleurs et les parfums se sont magnifiés. Ce rhum arrangé est plus doux que les rhums arrangés que j’ai l’habitude de préparer et de publier sur le blog. Il est parmi mes préférés, avec le rhum vanille-fève tonka, le punch coco, le gingembre-citron vert et celui à l’ananas.Il s’agit ici d’une recette offerte par le rhum Charrette, le rhum le plus célèbre de la Réunion, bien connu des amateurs de rhum. Rhum arrangé coco vanille: (prép 20 min/ Macération: 3 mois minimum)Ingrédients/ 1 bouteille d’un litre 1/2 noix de coco (1 dans la recette originale) 30 cl de sirop de canne 3 gousses de vanille 60 cl de rhum blanc Charrette 49°( environ ) Ouvrez la noix de coco et coupez la chair en lamelles. A l’aide d’un couteau, fendez les gousses de vanille en deux dans le sens de la longueur. Dans un grand bocal d’un litre ou une bouteille à gros goulot, disposez les lamelles de noix de coco, la vanille, le sucre de canne et complétez de rhum blanc. Laissez macérer, à l’abri de la lumière, au moins 3 mois avant dégustation. Le rhum arrangé se conserve plusieurs années.
