The Alchemical Wedding ~ A print of the original painting by Emily Balivet, 2012. The alchemical marriage, or conjunctio, balances the opposites of our nature, to purify and unify our souls. In the mystical sense coniunctio is the understanding or experience of the unity of opposites or paradoxes, the experience of the unity that lies behind our world of duality. Printed on acid-free, matte archival quality Kodak Endura photo paper, the print measures 12" x 18" with a .25" white border allowance for matting and framing.
