Architect: Charles Holden, 1933. Semi-circular brick and concrete ticket hall with large clerestory windows. A brick tower broadcasts the London Underground roundel and station name. Charles Holden (1875-1960) is probably best recognised for his fine modernist architecture for the London Underground system. The station is Grade II listed.
