Back to the County today with my first Long Lake piece and the beautiful tiny Town of St Agatha. I only saw it once with my grandfather when he took me to see my best friend's place and we just kept driving. I got to do a lot of that with him and I'll treasure those memories with him and the fact that St Agatha is wrapped up in one of those memories will always endear the place to me. As I type this the wind chill in St Agatha is -52⁰. I have painted this with a colorful bubble design throughout the image playing off the black linework to give just a slightly more funky/abstract feel to my usual style. I really enjoy combining my love for nature with my comic book style linework. The piece has a 5x7 inch giclee print nestled inside a black 8x10 matting.
