This handmade wood coffin bookmark is cut from maple wood stained in weathered oak and finished off with a black suede cord. The bookmark is engraved with “Here lies the last page I read,” with an open book engraved below the quote. Available in two thickness options, 1/16' and 1/8". 1/16" is a thinner bookmark, often chosen for paperback and 1/8" is thicker and a great choice for hardback. You can use 1/8" in paperback as well without worry about damaging your book. It is truly a personal preference. As avid readers ourselves we have tested our bookmarks over long periods of time to ensure they are safe for our books and have had no damage to our paperback or hardback books using either thickness.
