You don’t need any special brushes to have creative, textured lettering in Procreate. I’m going to show you how you can add these details with the brushes that come with Procreate! Steps: • Letter your order with a basic opaque brush - meaning it has no texture. • Add a Clipping Mask. • Select a textured brush - I’m using the Old Brush from the Painting folder in the Brush Menu. • With a new color, I’m going to start adding the texture to my lettering. With this specific brush, it gives a streaky paint texture. • I like to add a new Clipping Mask each time I add a new color - this is because if I don’t like it or mess up, I can easily clear out that layer and not have to start all over. This is personal preference. Give it a try and have fun trying out different textures!
