Out yesterday morning with the hope of capturing the sunrise, arrived at the top of Winnats pass in complete darkness and set up my camera ready for what the day would bring. Watching the sky gradually lighten to show angry leaded clouds hanging heavily over the Hope Valley didn't hold much hope as the allotted sunrise time passed as a non event, 10 minutes later and there was a glimmer as the sun did its best to overcome the clouds and managed to add a little colour to the scene which allowed me to capture this view down the valley. Not exactly what I was hoping for but still nice to be out in the Peak District.(2 exposures 1/8 + 1/60 f8 @ 7mm) www.stephenelliottphotogaraphy.co.uk
