Imported directly from Oaxaca, Mexico, these handmade tumblers are a rare and unique take on a traditional jarrito mug. A must have for sipping mezcal cocktails, but great for hot beverages too. Made just for us, by our friends in Oaxaca, these cups make a great addition to your home or bar, with face detail on one side and agave on the other. Each jarrito is made by hand from natural, gathered clays, by a sister team outside of Oaxaca de Juarez. One type of clay is used to form the vessel and another is used to give the beautiful red coloring. They are then fired over open flame, some cups uniquely marked by wisps of fire; and then burnished by hand, usually with a small stone, to give the finish. Each piece is ethically made with generations of craft and care, bringing you a unique and authentic way to enjoy a well deserved cocktail. *Chocolate Package includes 1 or 2 cup, 1 or 2 molinillo, and single Oaxacan hot chocolate package *A portion of net proceeds of this item have been pledged to Fondo Guadalupe Musalem; an organization in Oaxaca helping young Oaxacan women with limited economic resources to carry out their education. **Please note that these cups are not glazed or sealed, as they remain true to the traditional pre-hispanic method of producing barro rojo pottery.** *Each cup is handmade and will vary slightly in size and coloring *Due to the open flame firing of these cups, some will potentially feature unique markings from the flames *Approximate Dimensions (vary by up to 1") - 5" in height, 3" diameter at top, Approx. 12-13 fl oz *Lead Free *Hand-wash Recommended For more items return to our shop page at: https://www.etsy.com/shop/pochteka
