Richard Harrington, OC was a Canadian photographer. He is best known for his photographs taken in the Canadian Arctic between 1948 and 1953. Born in Hamburg, Germany, he immigrated to Canada in the mid-1920s. 16" x 20" Print received from the artist in late 1980's. Signed and dated on the front. Richard Harrington was the only Canadian included into Edward Steichen's Family of Man exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art, 1951. Silver Black & White Print in Perfect Condition.
