So The 6th Challenge for the Rippin Ain't Easy sewing competition is "Unconventional" Challenge. We cam make what ever we want but we can not use any fabric. We can use muslin as a base but that's it. When I started my search I came across this feather dress by Gaultier and a leather body suit which looks like metal. That lead me to search for metal dresses and that's when I was introduced to designer Paco Rabanne. He is a designer who had a flair for unconventional back in the 1960's. I love his work although it may not be practical it surely is art! Below are some of his designs and other metal/metal like wear.
