The black background and the white drawings, really work in unison, to show off these black and white illustrations at their best. Australian Illustrator Justin Estcourt, has this to say about his work: "Painting the light in a vast universe." I really like his work, but specifically the contrast, that the colors of his chosen medium gives to the finish piece. Mostly space themed, these drawings have had a very mellowing effect on me. A real relaxed feeling enveloped me, by the time I got to the last one on the page.
