Beef and cabbage sauce. | Beef and cabbage sauce. | By Joyful Cook | Facebook | This beef and cabbage sauce will sure be a hit once you try it. So so delicious. Keep watching let me show you how to make it. In a pan you are going to heat up some sesame oil and some vegetable oil. You can use only vegetable oil if you don't have sesame oil. Next going with some shredded beef and seasoning. This seasoning is some beef seasoning, some onion powder and all purpose seasoning. Stir very well until it turns peel. Now for the shredded beef, you can do this yourself in a house, get a chunk beef and slice them into shreds or simply get the shredded ones from your grocery store. Next I'll go in with some scotch bonnet pepper already chopped. Add some sliced onion and some minced garlic. I'm going to stir this for about a minute or two before I go in with a bit of water. Once you add the water, you're going to cover this and allow it to do it thin for about 5 minutes. You want the beef to properly cook. If you will be slicing your meat yourself at home, be sure to cut a the grain so it cooks fast. So while that is going, let's prepare the rice. I'm going to add some herbs into a pot of water. See, I've started sharing Christmas recipes like this oh, start saving this recipes. Let's go in with some coconut flakes. For the herbs, you can use parsley flakes and oregano flakes tried once okay. You don't have to have these bottled ones. Add your chicken seasoning, add some oil and allow to come to a boil. Give that a good mix, then you are going to go in with some oyster sauce. You can also use ehm stir fry sauce for this if that is what you have. Give it a good mix, then you are going to bring your slurry. Slurry is a combination of water and cornstarch. Add just a little bit, you don't want it to thicken up because you want it to be a little bit saucy, right? So give that a good mix, now you're going to add your cabbage, it's a cabbage and beef stir fry, remember? So add of cabbage at this point. Once you add the cabbage, you want this thing to still retain its crunch. So don't let it go for too much. Once you add the cabbage, give it a good mix. Once it wilts, take it off the heat. At this time the water for the rice is boiling, you're going to add your thoroughly washed rice and then allow this to cook completely. After a few minutes, check on the rice. Once it is dry, you know it is ready. So fluff it out just like this, be sure everything is properly combined. In my case you can see a little bit of seasoning peeping out so I'm going to make sure everything is nicely crushed before I take it off the heat. This rice was tasty by itself. So good.
