Please note, we are not selling the actual timber frame. We are selling the plans for you to purchase the timbers and build this frame yourself. Take a look at this 16x24 shed roof with a loft plan - it is an extremely versatile design! One of the 12x16 bays has a ceiling height of over 17 feet on one end and 13 feet on the other! The other bay has a second-floor loft that still maintains a ceiling height of almost 8 feet on the first floor. So you get a total of almost 600 square feet to use however you like! This frame would make a great farm structure to store tall equipment and storage in the loft. Or it could make a great camping cabin with plenty of living space and a loft for sleeping! The shed roof makes a clean, contemporary statement, and simplifies construction. The roof pitch is 3:12, which will still shed water and snow well. Plus, there are two-foot overhangs all around for protection from the sun and rain. You’ll be proud to show off your joinery skills with the traditional joints and have a very usable space for your efforts. You will receive links to download the full 27-page plan set PDFs when you buy this plan. The construction set is 12 pages full of the information you need for a successful project. There are 3D drawings and post, loft, and roof plans. And there are plenty of section and detail drawings explaining the intricacies. The 13-page piece drawing set shows you each cut you’ll be making on every timber. And the timbers are keyed to the isometric drawing so you know exactly where they belong in the frame. We also give you timber and connector lists to make your purchasing easier. Important Information: Timber Frame HQ provides plans for construction purposes but does not oversee the construction.
