Welcome to the exciting world of price stickers! This group celebrates store price stickers from the past. The time has come for us to give respect to these little squares & circles that have helped generations of shoppers not having to ask a store clerk, “How much for this?” Yes, price stickers have been part of our daily lives every time we make a purchase. As society moves more into the age of digital bar coding, the price sticker will soon become a thing of the past. The Vintage Price Stickers group will be part historical archive and part pop art gallery. Really, once you start looking at ‘em, they kinda have a pop art-ish feel! Group Rules - Any vintage store price stickers from 1900's to 1980's. (Nothing newer than 1989) Most any price sticker from any store will fit in the group - supermarkets, grocery, discount, hardware, toy, souvenir, etc. Tightly crop your sticker scan/photo with a slight border. Here's an example - List the year or decade when the sticker was used. (Usually, you can tell by the product the sticker is stuck on) If you know, mention the product that the sticker was stuck on in the caption. Try and add stickers that are not in the group already. Different variations and styles are OK from the same store. Exact duplicates will be deleted. No price tags or printed prices on products. We only want stickers!
