ABOUT THIS PIECE: This image belongs to the "Still Live" Series that have been mentioned on COLUMBIASPECTATORDOTCOM: ( the weekly newspaper of Columbia University in New York) "Miley Cyrus's new album "Bangerz" ... ... The album art, lovingly lifted from Yee Wong ... ... "Still Life,"... ..." The Still Life series experiments with different textures, lighting and reflection. A neon sign hangs in the middle of the set and the environment is built around it. The artist wanted to create this illusion of a mix of modern pop culture and nature, which are supposed to contradict one another. She manages to maintain harmony between these two contradictory themes through lighting and texture. This series shows the artist's imaginative world.
