Starting off with a simple pencil was how I began my drawing journey. It wasn't long before I found myself trying to capture the world around me on paper. I started with objects I found around the house - a cup, a pair of glasses, and eventually moved outdoors to trees and buildings. The joy of making something look real on paper was thrilling. I soon realized that drawing realistic things wasn't just about copying what I saw. It was about understanding the way light hit an object, the texture of surfaces, and the subtle shades in between.
