About A Victorian walnut framed & green leather button side chair, sitting on brass and white porcelain castors. Circa 1860. The chair is of good quality, with carved decoration to the top rail and shaped frieze, and terminating on carved cabriole legs. The walnut frame is in excellent condition for its age, showing some light signs of use, and has been cleaned and wax polished. The chair has been reupholstered in leather at some point in the past, the springs show some wear, but the chair is still very useable. There is a slight mark to the back of the leather as shown in the last photograph. The chair is structurally very sound, and does not have any damage or woodworm.
