The rhizomes are stout and thick, often branched, oblate, oblique, annular, yellow-brown; the fibrous roots are fleshy, yellow-white. Leaves erect or slightly curved, light green, gray-green or dark green, often whitish-powdered, sword-shaped. Flowering stems smooth, yellow-green. Continuing a look at art that has featured cats in one way or another, either as the subject of the work, or as an adjunct to it.
