These days everybody says, "follow your passion", "do what makes your heart happy", "trust your gut" and so on... it sounds easy, right? Actually, it is not. What if we don't know what our passion or talent is or we have not idea about what our gut says? What if we realize that we don't know what we want from life and that nothing rocks our hearts? If something resonates with you here, I tell you, you're not alone. Most of the people struggle with that, even if the "follow what you love" topic is huge on pop culture. The fundamental principles of "follow what you love" is positive. However, pop culture tends to show just the surface promoting ordinary lifestyles. And that's why I'm writing this post. I hope to help you to reconnect your heart, mind and spirit. Before we step into the actionable and spiritual ways you can implement to discover or find your passion again, here are some crucial rules to keep in mind: • Finding your passion is much more than a list of things to do: You have to use your mind, body, and soul, allowing you to receive love. • Finding your fire and live for that is NOT a must in life. May you're a multi-passionate girl, you love many things, and no one of them is necessarily more important than others. • This is NOT a race or a competition. This is huge because it's easy to follow our path when we have a strong way to walk and know what drives us. Comparison and jugging, at the opposite, are the real enemies to fire. If you find you in a position to judge yourself, please pass away and be kind to yourself. Mind you're walking an exciting and joyful journey, be positive, and don't look back. Training yourself to avoid any jugging or comparison is crucial here. It's a process. Walking the path to discovering your purposes and passions is the ultimate privilege. The majority of people on the planet can not even dream to do that. If you live in a free Country, pursuing your purposes and find your joy is your duty because it's the way to give your best to the world, no matter how big or small your world is. We have to give our best, even for those who can not. “Don’t worry about what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” Howard Thurman The 8 Tips for Bringing Back More Passion, Vitality + Joy in life 1) SLOW DOWN AND TAKE A FEW MINUTES FOR YOU It will help if you find more time to stay with you talking about the most important people of our life. You could go out for daily walks, practice yoga, write, do art, listen to your breath, take a massage, or meditate for example. Choose the activity that lights up you the most, and that is easier for a regular practice. Mind that the goal is not to create something for other people or that other people will judge. The purpose here is enjoying the pleasure and the enjoinment of the moment, and eventually starting a conversation with yourself to discover who you are and what your unique path is. You'll see that the more you practice, the more your self-esteem and confidence will rise. 2) YOU'RE NOT YOUR PAST We all tell ourselves stories about who we are and why. We are not skilled enough, we're not strong enough, and so on because of our mum or dad, friends, education, and so on. I learned from my experience how hard is changing these troughs that are rooted in our mind. We can begin writing new stories with confidence and courage and map out actions that move us from one to the other. 3) DON'T TRY TOO HARD Don't try too hard and don't wait for any answer, just listen patiently. This journey takes time and patience. Don't search for instant happiness, answers will comes. 6) FOCUS YOUR ATTENTION ON WHAT YOU LIKE Focus your attention on what you like, not on what you don't like. The intention here is to pay attention to your feelings and be more conscious of how they generate pleasure and light up something in us, day to day basis. 7) WRITE A LIST OF YOUR POSITIVE QUALITIES Write a list of positive quality you have and keep it secret, if you will. Don't hide your beautiful face behind the mask of insecurity. You're strong and brave, if not, you would not be here. Use a healthy dose of egoism and it doesn't matter if you can't properly explain your positive qualities with words. May your qualities are so unique and out of the box that are no easy to explain. The crucial thing is that you recognize these positive qualities in your mind and be conscious of them. 8) AVOID PERFECTION Don't look for perfection, and when you fell it blocks the flow of your actions, go to the opposite direction. Don't compare your quality to other people ones. Perfection is a non-sense boring concept. You're living a real life, not other people life or any theoretical concepts. The journey to find your passions is not a homework.
