About The Artwork "Arm in Arm" is an abstract, contemporary free standing metal sculpture. Made of welded steel rectangular tubing that has been primed and finished with enamel paint, the piece evokes the image of two arms interlocking. Designed and fabricated during a time when we have been sheltering in place in our studio, the sculpture represents a kind of human contact that we cannot presently do, as we practice social distancing. It is meant to represent hope and resiliency, for a time when we can be together again.
