Gabriel Soares is a talented Brazilian artist who blends digital painting and 3D programs to craft pop culture characters in his personal style. He infuses his 2D digital work with a smooth texture and adds depth with his mastery of shadow, light, and form. Soares' 3D pieces are equally impressive, showcasing his talent for caricatures.

The troupe of wild animals in Bruno Pontiroli’s paintings contort their bodies into backbends and handstands that would rival even the most accomplished gymnast. A wrinkly hippo balances on its tongue, a tiger arches its torso into a 90-degree angle, and a hyena rotates its hind legs in the air. The French artist (previously) notes that he begins the bizarre artworks with easily-recognized animals that he then shapes “like the way a child plays with modeling clay or a building set for instance,” morphing a simple depiction of a nimble lion or hare into a peculiar new reality. Bruno Pontiroli creates mind-bending explorations of the relationship between humans and animals, painting limber cows doing impressive handstands or an over-eager man embracing a large walrus, much to its chagrin. The artist shies away from labeling his work as Surrealist or Dadaist, instead proposing a new version of reality without categorization. Pontiroli will exhibit work with Galerie Klaus Kiefer at art KARLSRUHE from February 21 to 24, 2019 and with Fousion Gallery at Urvanity Art Madrid from February 28 to March 3, 2019. More

With so many things seemingly wrong and unjust with modern-day society, we can sometimes feel overwhelmed, outraged, and want to rebel in some way. Well, some people protest and tell the system to go fudge itself in very creative and polite ways—by deploying forms of mild vandalism. Meanwhile, others find that gentle vandalism is the best way for them to spread some cheer where it’s needed the most.
Scribble art technique at its best. Erick Centeno is a Peruvian artist that now lives and works in Italy. In my opinion, he is one of the best artists of the scribble technique that I have seen so far. I especially like his figures in movement and double exposures. They are so dynamically drawn. The detailing in something that at first looks so random as do the lines. At closer inspection, they morph into a truly outstanding and fluid piece of art. Inspiring poses and a couple of celebrities with a reference to a classic in movie and television history, in the form of uncle Fester of The Addams Family. Ps. I gave the images some titles.
