This delightful dragonfly is made with 1/8" diameter aluminum wire that we hammered for extra strength. Aluminum makes it much lighter than it appears! The widest part across the wings are about 3 1/4-3 5/8"(8.3-9.2cm). The dragonfly measures about 3 1/4 -3 3/4"(8.29.5cm) long from the top of it's head to the bottom of it's tail. The handmade aluminum hook adds about 1 - 1 1/2". This could be an ornament on a tree, a sun catcher in a window,a porch or garden decoration or anywhere else you can think of that this dragonfly needs to be. It is cut by hand from heavy gauge copper, hammered for texture and shape, then carefully heated with a torch to beautiful rainbow colors. Dragonfly is accented with a hammered "swirl".
