I weighed myself this morning and I lost another 6.2 pounds for a total of 21.4 pounds. I must confess that two days out of the week I made a few not so healthy choices. I had long errands to run and didn't prepare my food for on the go. On Tuesday I ate some chicken nuggets and a few fries from McDonald's. On Thursday I had a traditional Puerto Rican dinner of rice, beans and pork. Why am I not upset with myself? On both days I followed the plan to a T except for the one meal that I messed up on. On Thursday instead of eating a complete meal I shared half of it with my sister. The old me would have said "Oh well I cheated, I'll just start again tomorrow or next week". The new me allowed myself to deter for my plan but jump right back on and stay active. I have to say that this week the Dr. Oz Rapid Weight Loss Plan was easier. I found more things to eat and even enjoyed my salad more with a creamy and rich avocado-yogurt dressing I made. I also added hummus and soups which made it feel like I wasn't on a diet.
