My favourite Chinese restaurant treat, made at home! So easy, and unbelievably good. They are best eaten fresh off the stove!

As you can probably tell from some of my previous posts, I absolutely love cooking with my kids! We don't get to do in near as often as I would like since we have to finance it with our own money and it can get quite pricey. We still are trying to do it at least once or twice a month, and my aide are great about helping out with ingredients! Every time we get ready to try a new recipe I like to have a visual to go with it. This way we can go over the recipe step by step before we head into the kitchen to do the actual cooking. We always send a copy home (in hopes that their folks let them try to make it there) and we put one in their binders that they take home when they graduate. As you can see they go from pretty basic recipes to a little more challenging as to try to find things that all my kids will be able to make independently. This easy Fettucine Alfredo recipe is simply delicious. Cheesy, creamy and made from scratch, this sauce is the perfect comfort food made at home.
Thyme and rosemary are like cheese and crackers; they just go together, and they bring out beautiful flavors in this pork tenderloin. You’ll make your own pan sauce using apple cider (yep! delish!) and cook up a broccoli mash, which may just become your new favorite “mashed” veggie.
Mesquite is a tree species native to Mexico and the American Southwest. When smoked, the wood imparts a distinctive sweetness and aroma to foods. Capture that essence with this spiced chicken breast served alongside “loaded” potato wedges. The resulting flavors are a meal that'll definitely light your fire.
Succulent seasoned pork gets wrapped in dumpling skins, then crisped and steamed before being dunked in chile spiked dipping sauce. Sound good? Well, add some fragrant white rice and spicy spinach with sesame oil, garlic, and ginger and you have a dim sum doozy of a dish. Dumplings can take some time to assemble if you've never made them before, so grab a friend to help and turn dinner into a learning activity!

There’s nothing wrong with being classic. Like this classic chicken pad thai. We combine chicken strips with a sweet chili sauce, a bit of chili oil, and the hit parade of cilantro, lime, peanuts, and green onion over a bed of rice noodles. Simple. Delicious. Definitely classic.
General Tso's Chicken is the popular American-Chinese Restaurant food we love to order! Breaded sweet fried chicken pieces are so close to sesame and orange chicken only its not as spicy or sour! It's better-than-takeout and super easy to make!
These Copycat Olive Garden Bread Sticks are soft and fluffy on the inside just like the real deal. You can enjoy them whenever you want when you make them at home.
Super simple salad with a handful of interchangeable ingredients and one of my favourite dressings; lemon, honey and thyme. Assembling a not-shit salad is not so much an art as it is an equation. Salty (halloumi) + sweet (sweet potato) + creamy (avocado) + crunchy (pecans) + zingy (dressing). Textures and colours play as big a part as flavours, too. I hope you love this one as much as I do.Total time to make : 40 minutes Time to prep : 10 minutesTime to roast : 30 minutesServings : 2 as a main,

Deliciously meaty, bone-in chicken wings; 1st and 2nd joint Savory, crispy exterior that is perfect for coating in own signature sauce Between 90-165 pieces per case Fully cooked and ready to heat and serve Ships frozen
Turn up your chicken by a notch—or a few—by coating it in a panko breadcrumbs and giving it a drizzle of sweet ‘n’ spicy hot honey. This preparation is like the happy middle ground between plain white meat and deep-fried indulgence—it’s still got all the crispy texture you love, but without loads of oil. The sides also hit that in-the-middle spot between simplicity and deliciousness: easy roasted carrots with warm carrots and silky smooth mashed potatoes with chives.
Oven baked and made simply with shredded potatoes, parmesan cheese, olive oil, herbs, garlic + salt...yum!
Are you one of those people who believes that meatballs are simply a vessel for delivering gravy? We feel you. That’s why our chefs dreamed up this gravy-licious meal! The beefy meatballs, however, stand proud under the saucy stuff. They’re juicy, delicious, and a perfect compliment to tender roasted green beans and chive-flecked mashed potatoes on the side. Get on the gravy train!
If nothing says “date night” like a juicy steak, then this dish is the equivalent of getting down on one knee. Pan-seared, pepper-crusted steaks are drizzled with a chive-flecked butter sauce (cue the swoons). But it’s not just any pepper, and it’s not just any steak: here, freshly cracked tri-colored peppercorns provide a spicy, crunchy coating for melt-in-your-mouth beef tenderloin. On the side, there’s delicately crisp asparagus with toasty almonds and creamy mashed sweet potatoes. No matter who you cook this for, we have a good feeling they’ll be quite smitten.
Still want the great flavors and delicious dinners you've come to expect from Home Chef, but a fraction of the time and barely any work? These oven-ready offerings were made with you in mind. Just follow the assembly instructions, pop it in the oven, and voilà! It's like you slaved over a hot stove for hours (we'll keep your secret.)
Far from your workaday meat-and-potatoes dinner, this meal offers a delightful blend of flavors and textures to put a fresh take on, well, meat and potatoes. Tender flat iron steak is among the most flavorful cuts around, and this garlic-tomato sauce is a fresh and robust accompaniment. Competing for top-billing on this plate are these crispy potato fritters. Mashed red bliss potatoes get a distinctly nutty infusion from Parmesan cheese, then pan-fried to golden-brown perfection. When simple, clean flavors come together this easily, you win.
