I don’t know if it is me, but I’ve started seeing keys. You know those old vintage, skeleton keys every where. And you know what?...
This Santa log craft is a great way to add a rustic touch to your Christmas decor, and is a fun Christmas craft for the whole family to make together!
These assemblage pieces are by Philadelphia artist Louise Strawbridge. To see more of her work go to Arts-Link.
Accompanied by a couple of batty friends, this dusty old skeleton stands behind a little headstone that simply says, "RIP". Ornament measures 7" x 3" x 2" and has a small length of cording attached to a loop for hanging. This box will also stand on its own. This is a piece of assemblage art, and it is completely enclosed between glass within a soldered box. All pieces are one-of-a-kind. Custom orders are always welcome, so if you have some little things you've always wanted on display but never knew quite what to do with them and you like what you see here, send me a conversation.

The M&M timber hexagonal 4m garden gazebo is impressive in so many ways, a practical and very handsome structure that offers space and an inviting ambience for relaxation and many other activities. Smooth sanded timber creates a wonderful appearance that enhances the gazebo's terrifically engaging design, this is clearly a high-quality building that makes the most of natural materials. The gazebo is hand-built by skilled craftsmen and features a solid timber deck and balustrade side panels, durability is ensured as all the wood is kiln dried and pressure treated. Different roof styles can be chosen to complete the structure, timber log lap, elegant hand-cut red cedar shingles, or the classic thatch made from South African reed. All have a weatherproof lining. Inside, there is more than enough room for a table and bench seats and, to offer privacy as well as shade, drop-down curtains in three contemporary colours can be fitted that match optional cushions. There's so much to see in this old drawer that's been turned into a shadowbox display that it seems like there's something new to see every time you look. One of my favorite things to do is go on walks and hikes in nature, and most of the items in this shadowbox were found on these walks. This display of weird and wonderful things is guaranteed to generate conversations, bring on comments, and even start games of 'I Spy'. A feather and beetle bouquet in a creepy old doll's leg, a desiccated rat that was found in an old barn, a mushroom that looks like a brain, a cicada on a little nest with an egg, a snakeskin in a jar, a wasp's nest, a deer's (I think) jaw bone, a rib from an unknown animal...these are just some of the interesting things you'll see. The shadowbox drawer measures 13" x 7" x 3 1/2". It's stable sitting on a shelf, but also has a sturdy bracket on the back for mounting on your wall. This is a piece of assemblage art. All items were either found in nature, old outbuildings, or in thrift and antique shops. All works are one-of-a-kind. Custom orders are always welcome, so if you have some little things you've always wanted on display but never knew quite what to do with them and you like what you see here, send me a conversation.
